“How to Practice as Little as Possible (and Get Big Results)” and “Expressive Elements”.
Suzanne Guy is a recovering slacker from childhood malpractice. She knows every trap students might fall into and dreams up creative ways to motivate them to improve and eventually become addicted to practicing. She has taught piano pedagogy, written for Clavier Magazine, was one of four teachers in the U.S. featured on a Keyboard Teleconference broadcast nationwide, and a Mobil Ambassador teacher at the Van Cliburn Competition. Suzanne Guy’s lectures and motivational workshops have taken her to 44 states and overseas. Both students and teachers find her excitement and love of music to be inspirational.

+Joseph Banowetz, Featured Artist, in Concert - 6:30pm-7:30pm
Joseph Banowetz has been heard by audiences on five continents. In 1992, Banowetz was awarded the Liszt Medal in Budapest, and was designated the 1997 MTNA Convention Artist. He has twenty-six recordings and is also internationally recognized as an editor and author. His book The Pianist’s Guide to Pedaling has been printed in five languages. Banowetz is an International Steinway Artist.
