TMTA MembershipTexas state dues are $35.00.
If you do not enter an amount for local association dues in
the appropriate space, you will be listed as an ancillary member. Ancillary members have all the rights of membership except their students cannot participate in student activities since this must be done through a local association. You may also join TMTA through a local association if you know of one in your area. Contact the TMTA office to receive information about local associations. Each local association has its own guidelines and membership qualifications. The local president can advise you about joining that association. Texas Music Teachers Association MTNA MembershipMTNA is pleased to announce that new members now can join online. Becoming a member has never been easier and can be completed by going to the MTNA website by clicking on the link below. This takes you to a drop down menu (Tell me more about). Select the appropriate membership category from the menu and then click on Join now. After completing the information fields, the system quickly calculates dues for national, state and local membership, as appropriate. After submitting the application new members then can print out a confirmation sheet with their new member number and a copy of their membership information.
Joining only takes a few minutes and can be completed any time of day.
Note: This is not available for the District of Columbia, Florida, Maryland, Oregon and Washington. If you would like to change your new
membership process please contact Elaine Donaldson at
edonaldson@mtna.org or (888) 512-5278 ext.
230. New members are strongly encouraged to contact the
president
or membership chair of the local association they wish to join
for local membership requirements. |
