Collegiate Membership
MTNA/TMTA COLLEGIATE membership is open to all college students currently involved in music study, who are also members of an affiliated association. Membership may be with either local associations or collegiate chapters. Collegiate members shall be entitled to the same privileges as Active members, but shall not have the right to vote, hold office or enter students in MTNA or TMTA competitions, activities or events. There are no separate state dues for collegiate membership. Membership is made through MTNA.
MTNA Collegiate Chapter Members do not pay TMTA-SA Dues, but all members of a Collegiate Chapter may be counted as Student Affiliate Members of a local Association. The TMTA Office must be notified in writing by the Collegiate Chapter Advisor, with cc to the local SA Chairman of the local affiliation of any Collegiate Chapter. Collegiate Chapter Members may hold TMTA-SA Membership with only one local association. No Collegiate Chapter Members will be counted as members of a local student affiliate after March 31.
