Collegiate Conference Presentation Proposal Form

Collegiate Conference Presentation Proposal Form

Deadline: April 1

Texas collegiate chapters, collegiate students, and newly graduated young professionals (less than one year post-graduation) are encouraged to apply.  Sessions will be divided into 15-minute presentations and 5-minute lightning presentations.  You may indicate your preference below.  The committee reserves the right to assign presentation lengths in order to best fill the available time slots.

SESSION DESCRIPTIONS

15-minute Presentations showcase current research, projects, outreach, or chapter activities by a collegiate chapter of individual collegiate member.  The presentations will be presented back-to-back as one session.

5-minute Lightning Sessions are brief yet thorough bits of information that are essentially academic versions of an elevator pitch (definition and guidelines can be found at https://www.mindtools.com/pages/article/elevator-pitch.htm) that focus on a single topic, example, idea, project or technique. Do not attempt to cover all aspects of the subject matter, but present one facet of the idea clearly and succinctly.  In this interactive session, audience members vote to determine their favorite best idea for prizes.  This format works best for individual presenters, not chapter presentations.

Please submit only one proposal per form.
